Carl Jung tells us that “the place of magic transformation and rebirth… are presided over by the mother” (9i, para. 157). One needs no temple or church to praise the mother goddess, all the world is worshiping ground.
The sacred landscape of the mother goodness includes caves, grottoes, valleys, well-springs, and any place womb like, as well as rivers, streams, waterfalls, and mountain peaks (as breast). Such places offer the healing and transformation energy of the mother goddess.
